The following video illustrates conducting a paired t-test.

  • SPSS OUTPUT CREATED:
  • Menus and Steps Used:
    • Double-click on the SPSS dataset to open SPSS with that data loaded
    • ANALYZE – COMPARE MEANS – PAIRED T-TEST
      • Drag pairs into variable 1 and variable 2
      • Click OK
    • ANALYZE – COMPARE MEANS – ONE-SAMPLE T-test
      • Drag DIFFERENCES into the test variable list and set the test value to 0
      • Click OK
    • Save SPSS output by going to the output and File – Save or by closing SPSS and following the prompts
